A 5 Star πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…πŸ… Tomato Tart with Press-in Crust!

Hey friends❣️

I've got the gardening bug this year. But I stick to herbs, maybe some baby lettuce, and flowers. I leave tomatoes to the professionals ;)

French Tomato Tart with Press in Crust!

This is my kind of recipe, it's so do-able. As one reader recently said "deceptively simple and completely delicious!" I think that fits my style perfectly.

The tomatoes and light cheese filling are the stars of this tart, but it's that press-in crust that knocks it out of the park. πŸ…

(I love this crust so much I'll probably use it for my next Vidalia onion pie or zucchini pie.)

This tomato tart is versatile ~ serve it for brunch, lunch, or a light dinner. All it needs is a salad:

Charcuterie Salad is a perfect hearty salad to add some protein to this meal.

Chopped Italian Salad is one of my favorites, the combo of flavors is super sophisticated.

Asparagus Salad is a chunky chopped salad with lots of colorful crunch.

Mediterranean Bean Salad adds a great textural element plus it's super healthy. (Also try Greek Chickpea Salad)

I loved making this delicious dessert! It was super simple and easy to make. I ended up using canned peaches instead of fresh ones. (I think my peaches weren’t as ripe as I would have liked.) It turned out great and my family loved it.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!
