Cardamom Plum Cake

Cardamom is one of those magical spices that doesn’t shout, but once you know it, you can’t forget it. I often use it in place of cinnamon to give favorite baked goods a fall refresh. The taste is hard to pin down~ it's warm and fragrant, with a hint of citrus (it’s what gives Scandinavian pastries their haunting aroma.) Just a pinch can turn a simple cake or cookie into something unforgettable.

Meatball Mac & Cheese 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved it! A nice upgrade but not too different from the usual mac&cheese. Added dried mustard instead of nutmeg. Next time I’ll experiment with adding Velveeta. I liked baking it in my cast iron frypan. Enhanced the “gourmet-ness” for my men-folk to sit up and notice!
