If love had a flavor, it just might taste like this 🩷

Hey friends❣️

I saw my first snowdrop (it was late this year!) so I'm going with a spring theme today~

Persian Love Cookies

Persian love cookies are buttery fragrant almond cardamom cookies dipped in a light almond glaze and dusted with crushed pistachios and rose petals.

You don't need to use rosewater in these cookies, (you can use almond extract instead) but I'll tell you where you can buy it if you want to experiment.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

Hey friends❣️ We’re in the home stretch, people. August has its own kind of energy ~ slower, softer, a little overgrown. The kitchen’s full of fruit flies, corn husks, and peaches begging to be baked. There’s good eating to be done, for sure. Your AUGUST kitchen playlist, in no particular order (It's really hard to pick favorites this month but I'll call out the zucchini bars, the zucchini layer cake, and those mouth watering masa harina biscuits. And let's just say I totally get how the...

no bake chocolate cheesecake

Hey friends❣️ Consider this your digital cool breeze. It’s been hot and rainy here, and the bad hair days are stacking up ~ but there’s still plenty to love about mid-summer! No Bake Double Chocolate Cheesecake Not sure what to lead with here. It’s no-bake, which makes it perfect for this steamy week ~ but really, it’s all about the chocolate. Rich, full-flavored, with just a hint of tang…it might even top the chocolate cheesecake that’s been living rent-free in your memory. (Mine? A...

Boursin butter on corn

Hey friends❣️ Back again with my newest culinary 'invention', and it's a goodie. Best of all it takes just 2 ingredients to whip this up. Simple but super impactful. Life is good! Boursin Butter I’m still reeling from my first taste of this Boursin butter on a hot ear of perfect summer corn. Rich, buttery, herby, and cheesy in the best way. If you're like me you're already imagining all the ways you going to use it. Boursin Stuffed Mushrooms ~ the best little appetizer ever. Salmon Mousse...
