Lazy Girl Dinner Ideas ☀️🥱

Hey friends❣️

This month dinner is all about minimal heat and minimal effort.

Here's how I'm doing it ~

Giada's No-Cook Lemon Spaghetti Sauce!

For lemon lovers only and wow, does it pack a punch. Everybody's face brightens when that first forkful hits.

Hint: throw a handful of cherry tomatoes into the pasta pot just a few seconds before draining!

Thai Chicken Salad

Rotisserie chicken's your friend here ~ I can live off this one salad for days!!

Mediterranean Orzo with Tuna

If you aren't in love with canned tuna you need to rethink:

Microwave Mac and Cheese

Pressing a button to make dinner seems almost too good to be true ~ try it!

Easy Shrimp Piccata

Shrimp cooks in the blink of an eye, which makes it a July staple in our house. Also try Chimichurri Shrimp and Shrimp Scampi Fra Diavolo.

Chicken Salad Summer Rolls

Summer rolls are ultra refreshing, and this genius July dinner is satisfying, too.

Smoked Trout Dip and Ritz

Don't laugh, this is the best lazy supper everrrrrr! (We're also loving smoked salmon salad sandwiches.)

Tomato Sandwich Bruschetta

My mouth is watering just looking at the photo. And if you love this you'll also love my other epic summer tomato sandwich :)

Sue Moran

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

dinner shortcut!

Hey friends❣️ I thought I'd share my absolute favorite dinner shortcut ~ if you love chicken I think you'll love this too. I keep frozen breaded chicken tenders or breasts in my freezer and sub them in for some of our favorite chicken dinners to make them so much quicker and easier. ~ these are uncooked, and that's one of the reasons they're so good. All I have to do is pop them in the oven (about 25 minutes) while I focus on the rest of the dish. I love Bell & Evans brand, but there are...

Melon salad

Hey friends❣️ Summer inspires me to get creative in the kitchen. The colors of the tomatoes, the melons, the berries ~ it's a palette I can use to create visually stunning dishes that are equally delicious. Here are some show-stopping ideas (along with more restrained alternatives if you aren't feeling so ambitious.) Cucumber Melon Salad Not sure I've ever made a prettier salad...it's basically a checkerboard made with melon cubes, cuke slices, cherry tomatoes and cheese! It's a cheffy salad...
