Most of the time, cooking is practical ~ we’re just trying to get a good meal on the table. But other times it can be a creative escape. Some people love tackling a complicated sourdough or an elaborate dessert, but I gravitate toward the super simple stuff ~ especially if I can play with new flavors and techniques.

I’m on an absolute stone fruit bender this season. I can’t get my Apricot Almond Tart out of my mind, and I’ll throw plums into anything and everything these days. In fact you can make this apricot curd with just about any stone fruit you’ve got on hand, what fun!

Hey friends❣️ It’s true. They’re way up there next to the Frito Twists. Out of reach, but not out of mind. Sometimes I even surprise myself. These cookies were originally published back in 2012.
