S U N D A Y 🌿 on Great Island

Hey friends❣️

Happy Sunday!

I'm back home and excited for a big week in the kitchen. Send me your requests, I'm focusing on the holidays!

I picked up several cookbooks while in Door County, and the one that inspires me most is The Scandinavian Year: Food and thoughts from Sweden, Denmark and Norway. I've bookmarked so many pages to try, it's a good one.

Early on in our trip I picked up large almond-y cookies in a Swedish bakery at the very tip of the penninsula ~ and by the time we finished them off I had already perfected the recipe. As you can see they're homey-style cookies, but that's part of their charm.

These easy drop cookies are large and satisfying ~ we kept a knife handy to carve them up like pie 🥧 for snacking.
