This one’s pure joy ~ I get to share what I love, not just what’s trending on social media. And last time I checked, Google doesn’t have taste buds, so who are you going to trust?

Sue's Top 30 Fall Bakes

I simply did a leisurely scroll through my dessert archives (did you know there are over 900 of them?) and made note of the recipes that stopped me in my tracks. This was a fun exercize, and I learned a little bit about myself in the process:

I'm a nut person. Almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, peanut butter, frangipane, Nutella. They're everywhere on my list.
I love warm, aromatic flavors. Cardamom is a particular favorite, along with coffee, maple, molasses, bourbon, and anything toasted or caramelized.
Texture is a big deal to me. Fudgy, chewy, crisp, crumbly, buttery ~ I love them all, especially when they show up together.

There's a cozy, rich, toasted, aromatic quality across almost the entire collection, let me know if any of your faves made my list!
