Spring forward muffin recipes (Mom would love!) 😍

Hey friends❣️

Happy Friday! As I'm writing to you now I've got an almond poppy seed muffin and a cup of hot coffee by my side, so all is right with the world. If you're thinking about Mother's Day (or just thinking about breakfast) you'll love today's recipes.

The almond poppyseed muffins are freshly updated from a 2013 recipe ~ we've completely revamped this classic and I have to say, they're just perfect.

Almond Poppy Seed Muffins

Not to brag, but muffins are one of my specialities, they’re my go-to when that baking urge hits me. In my years as a professional baker I’ve pulled thousands out of my oven, and I’m always tinkering with my recipes to make the next batch just little bit better.

Spring Rhubarb Muffins

Rhubarb has hit the stores and farmers markets, so now's your opportunity to try these lovely muffins.

Swedish Meatball Bowls 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Possibly one of the few people who have never had Swedish meatballs before. Made this for dinner a couple of night ago and I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious these meatballs and gravy were. I was a bit concerned that this would be bland but it was not. The flavors are subtle yet complex and very satisfying with the buttered noodles. Definitely a keeper!

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

MEYER LEMON HUMMUS

Hey friends❣️ My naturally vegan Meyer lemon hummus dip is so easy and so silky it makes store-bought feel kind of pointless. Meyer Lemon Hummus We’re hummus people…always have been. It’s been our go-to appetizer or snack for decades, and while taste in hummus can vary, I maintain that there are a few qualities every great hummus must have: It must be silky smooth (I can’t abide a grainy hummus) It must be rich in tahini for a luxe satisfying experience And it must not have a harsh acidic...
