The summer dinners I'm loving lately 🌿

Hey friends❣️

My breakfast might not always be healthy (cue the Dessert for Breakfast section on my site...) but dinner is usually a healthy-ish affair in our house, and I find that easiest to stick to in summer. These favorite dinners are all inspired by classic bright green sauces that are a staple in my kitchen.

Green Goddess Salmon

Every cook should know how to make Green Goddess. It's honestly one of the most vividly flavored dressing I've ever encountered, and it can be translated into so many different recipes.

Chimichurri Shrimp

Another back-pocket flavor booster, chimichurri is made with fresh herbs, garlic, vinegar, olive oil, and a little heat, it brings instant brightness to grilled meats, fish, chicken, vegetables, eggs, and sandwiches.

Pesto Pasta with Blistered Tomatoes

And last but not least pesto is probably the herby green sauce most of us discover first. It's easy to overlook it if all you've ever had is the jarred stuff (it doesn't come close!) Pesto lends itself to a gazillion variations.

Blackberry Cobbler Bars

"Uuuuum, these are DELICIOUS!! One of the easiest recipes for blackberries! Thank you for sharing!! It is a keeper! 💜"

~ MARIANNE

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun.

I'm thinking tacos ~ maybe my Instant Pot barbacoa or short ribs. I could make Mexican street corn salad but I'll probably default to corn on the cob to make my life easier. Speaking of corn I'm testing Mexican street corn chowder tomorrow, I'm so excited. In fact the new summer recipes are piling up faster than I can get them out to you,...
