How to Reduce Sugar in Your Baking!

We all love sugar, it’s lovely, it’s delicious, and it's an essential part of the baking process. But too much of it can cause all sorts of problems (weight gain, type 2 diabetes, and heart issues.)

My philosophy has always been to eat healthily and indulge in moderation. But not all of us have that luxury. I hear from lots of you with health conditions that require you to reduce or eliminate sugar from your diet. Others of you just want to lose weight, or generally eat healthier.

Whether you’re looking to simply reduce sugar, swap it out for natural alternatives, or find the best commercial substitutes, I created this guide to help you bake smarter and healthier.

Paleo Fruit and Nut Bread 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Delicious and simple to prepare. Have made it three times to date.
No added sugar is a plus. Love the crunch of the chopped nuts and the flavour of the dried fruit. Toasted for brunch with a small bowl of organic Greek yogurt makes an amazing meal.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!
