This Frozen Dessert 🍒 is Indescribably Delicious...

Hey friends❣️

Stopping by today to bring you the most luxe ice cream I've ever made!

Amarena Cherry Gelato

Have you encountered Amarena cherries? They're small, dark, sour cherries that grow wild in Italy. They’re sold preserved in a sweet syrup in the most beautiful blue and white jars. They have a rich tart almondy flavor that is totally unique and delicious. If you love sour cherries you’ll adore amarenas!

Amarena cherries can be hard to find, I buy mine at Whole Foods, but you can always find them on Amazon.

Sheet Pan Peppers and Brats 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve made this a few times and have really enjoyed it each time. I never eat it with a bun but I’m sure that would be delicious too. Tonight I used a green, yellow, and orange bell pepper. The peppers mixed with the juices of the brat add just the right amount of savory flavor with a hint of sweetness. Bonus: it’s so easy to make. Thank you for a great recipe!

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

cinnamon sugar scones

Hey friends❣️ My husband and I love going out to breakfast, but if I could only bring my own scones...now that would be heaven! Easy Layered Cinnamon Scones Pin it! These cinnamon scones are classics, with a delicious twist ~ those layers are so luxe! They look a little tricky to make but don't worry, I wouldn't do that to you. pear coffee cake

Hey friends❣️ The recipes that come out of the Great Island kitchen are a family affair. My oldest daughter works with me side by side on all aspects of the site, and she tackles some of the more complex recipes we share (have you seen our Swedish Cardamom Buns or our Bûche de Noël Cake?) My son-in-law is the force behind our multi-day homemade corned beef, and our foray into kefir making. My husband is my restaurant and farmers market partner, and does clean up on recipe testing days (bless...
