Your 5 favorite cookies (and yes, they’re chocolate) 🍪

Hey friends❣️

I had a feeling you might be in need of a tried-and-true cookie right about now, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner. These are five of your most saved, most loved recipes over the years — and I couldn’t help noticing they’re all chocolate-forward. You’ve got good taste 😉

And wouldn’t you know it, today’s brand new recipe involves chocolate too… funny how that happens!

1. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies

"These cookies are by far my most favourite cookies ever. They are SO easy to make – I just mix all the ingredients with a spatula and turn it out onto cling wrap and without ever touching the dough, then roll it into a sausage to be refrigerated before baking. The final cookie is SO delicate and incredibly delicious. Seriously. THANK YOU FOR THE RECIPE."

2. Homemade Thin Mints

"These cookies are yummy on their own, once you turn them in to thin mints, you have to hide them from yourself!! They are sooooooo yummy! Great recipe, easy and delicious!"

~ NINA 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

3. DoubleTree Secret Recipe Chocolate Chip Cookie

"These cookies are dangerous! So perfect, I couldn't stop eating them...."

~FLORENCE 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

4. Flourless Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Delicious! Made these today and they were perfect! The recipe was spot on…. I baked for about 9 minutes. We ate the whole batch!"

~JANICE 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5. Brussels Cookies

"I have made these twice before today both times they came out perfectly! I just made a batch now and made little balls and they are freezing up enough to put them in a ziplock bag as I type. I will pull some out of the freezer tonight and more nights down the road to bake and eat when I’m craving a sweet treat!"

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!
