This is my favorite asparagus recipe, at least equal to asparagus soup which I love! Few changes: I use probably twice as much asparagus as recipe calls for; still plenty of sauce. I don’t add the nutmeg; I use all sizes of asparagus and just cook it for a good hour and it is always delicious! Thank you, Sue, for this recipe.
