If I had to pick one iconic recipe to represent my baking, it would be a shortbread crumble ~ it’s part of my baking DNA. I turn to it most often when I’m baking for family and friends, and it never lets me down. I’ve made it a million ways and I’m still not sick of it ~ I love how easily it adapts to the seasons.

My younger daughter is discovering baking this year and has become obsessed with these recipes. Last week she made my rhubarb crumble tart for her boyfriend, and he told her it was the best thing she’s ever made. It’s now her signature recipe, I've officially lost it.
