My Nighttime De-Stresser 😴

Hey friends❣️

If you've only ever bought tea in bags, you'll be amazed at how much more delicious it is to make your own ~ and who knows how long that box has been sitting on the supermarket shelf??

How to Make Relaxing Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea is nothing new, it’s been around for centuries, but it seems especially appropriate right now when so many of us are stressed, struggling to get enough daily hydration, and trying hard to limit sugary sodas and alcoholic drinks (dry January anyone?) I’m making good progress introducing healthier drinks into my routine, and a mug of chamomile tea at night is my newest obsession. Hot tea provides warmth, aromatherapy, and the emotional comfort of a relaxing routine.

Buttery Pecan Sandies 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My personal favorite cookie from your impressive collection! I make these to bake and slice each morning for my lunchbox. Sunday evenings I make the dough which comes together quickly, roll and refrigerate. This most recent batch I decided to add some finely chopped candied citrus rind (your recipe of course!) and it was a delightful combination! Still think the original is perfect but it was fun to mix it up a little.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

Greek Avgolemono Soup

Hey friends❣️ I’m sharing one of my favorite soups with you today ~ it comes from sunny Greece and it’s ridiculously simple to make. If you love lemon, chicken, and rice (or pasta), you’re going to love this one. I’m also sharing a new-old bread from the 1970s. Anna Thomas herself calls it “the best bread I’ve ever made,” which is high praise from someone who defined the era and inspired so many of us with a lifelong respect for real food. Enjoy your Sunday! Greek Avgolemono Soup with Chicken...

orange chocolate chip muffins

Hey friends❣️ I think about this a lot. Natural flavors are being crowded out by artificial ones, and it’s changing how food tastes ~ sometimes in ways we barely notice. Today’s new recipe celebrates the vibrancy of real citrus (and a flavor trick I’ve relied on for years.) Please take a minute to add me to your trusted sources on Google ~ this tells Google you trust and want to see my content. (You'll get less AI slop and more delicious recipes!)
