New: Almond Croissant Cake 🤩

Hey friends❣️

Fresh up today ~ a cake that’s part croissant, part coffee cake, and completely irresistible.

Almond Croissant Cake

French almond croissant cake is a variation on two other cakes that I absolutely adore ~ my French Pistachio Cake and subsequent Mocha Hazelnut Cake. The unique recipe is authentically French, and contains no butter or oil. Instead whipped cream is folded into the batter for a texture that is rich and light at the same time. This easy recipe is reliable, rises beautifully, and slices like a dream.

We almond lovers (you know who you are!) are always looking for the next fresh almond experience, and my almond croissant cake marries a classic French pastry with a moist and fluffy coffee cake. This recipe would be gorgeous on a spring holiday table, or with afternoon tea or coffee any time of year.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

All you need is 2 ingredients and a jar, and it's a nice change from yogurt (with even more probiotics!) It's been a helpful next step on my personal journey to better eating and making my calories count. I...

almond flour banana cake

Hey friends❣️ Almond Flour Banana Cake is the kind of thing you bake when the kitchen's quiet, the bananas are soft, and you want something warm and familiar without being predictable. Almond Flour Banana Cake Bananas have always given me a stomachache, so I have never been able to eat them. But somewhere along the way I discovered that I'm perfectly fine with cooked bananas ~ hence my absolute obsession with banana desserts of all kinds. But almond flour gets equal billing in this recipe and...
