I love to cook in my cast iron skillet. It gives everything an instant grandma chic. Plus the pan holds heat so well ~ the edges of this cherry cake get a little extra crunch while the center stays soft and scoop-able.

"I bought the cuisinart machine just for this, I never made ice cream before, but I love lemon and this was amazing. I didn’t use the coloring and I used half n half instead of the milk. I have some raspberry coulis in the freezer and I’m going to put a spoon of it on my new favorite ice cream. Thank you for this delicious recipe!!!"

Hey friends❣️ Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a nice week. Somehow, for the first time in my life, I’ve become a garden person! It started last fall, when we tore out all the grass in our front yard and turned it into a woodland garden with a winding flagstone path.
