S U N D A Y 🌿 on Great Island

Hey friends❣️

Happy Sunday!

It's been a fun recipe week here ~ and my latest just dropped a few minutes ago ~ you're the first to see it.

Is it a rich chocolate mousse? A bowl of frozen custard ice cream? Nope, it's my morning bowl of probiotic rich yogurt, the chocolate hazelnut edit.

Do I feel silly sharing such a ridiculously simple recipe? No way, that's what I'm all about. And this is life changing.

Do I feel just a little embarrassed that it took chocolate and hazelnut to make me like yogurt? Maybe just a little. But I'll get over it :)

And then I realized that so many of my favorite recipes have a common theme...(the layer cake is to die for.)

16 Desserts You Can Make with a Jar of Nutella

This week's recipe update

It's from way back in 2012. I can remember testing and eating every single recipe I've shared on my site over the years, and this is no exception. The sauce is from Northern Italy and it's so unique and delicious. It's a creamy, nutty cousin to pesto Genovese, which comes from the same region.

The combination of toasted walnuts with ricotta and garlic is amazing. I make it with the curliest pasta I can find to maximize every bite.

Italian Pasta with Walnut Sauce

Northern Italian pasta tends to go easy on the cooked tomato sauces and leans into things like pesto, walnuts, mushrooms, butter, good cheese, and meaty ragùs. Basically, a very good place to look for dinner inspiration as we transition to cooler weather.

  2. Pesto Pasta with Blistered Tomatoes
  3. Pasta with Radicchio, Bacon and Walnuts
  4. Easy Pasta Bolognese
