Hey friends❣️

Happy Sunday!

Today is all about prep, because I've been burned before ~ I get all set to dive into a fun holiday baking project only to realize it's too late to order my supplies. This is the time to get prepped so you can hit the kitchen running right after Thanksgiving.

I'm sharing the best cookie stamps I've ever found, the heirloom quality cookie cutter company I order from every year, plus the shortbread mold I use on repeat.

Let me just say upfront that cookie stamps are problematic ~ many of them just don't work very well, so I stick to a few that work for me.

These stamps are heavy cast aluminum and in my experience give the best results ~ the designs are sharp and don't disappear during baking.

I use them for my glazed gingerbread cookies.

Every year I add one new cookie cutter to my collection and the heirloom quality cookie cutter company I rely on for my yearly purchase is The Fussy Pup. The heavy duty copper cutters are little works of art.

This year I bought a wreath cookie cutter, and I'm excited to experiment with it and share the results with you.

One of the prettiest bakes to come out of my kitchen every year is molded shortbread, and over the years I've tried many different molds only to come back to this exact one. This particular pattern works the best for me, it leaves the sharpest impression, and releases cleanly every time, which is important.
