Weekend Baking Plans 🍪

Hey friends❣️

Did you know that search for chocolate chip cookie recipes peaks during the holiday months? Makes sense ~ the world’s most popular cookie still holds its own with thumbprints and snowballs.

My collection is always growing. Currently, the 3 most popular are:

#1 The Hilton DoubleTree Secret Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  • it's big, classic, and crunchy.

#2 Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies

  • this one has a completely different melt-in-your-mouth texture.

#3 Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • like the name says.

Chewy Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

The latest model to come out of my oven is my current fave because it has a rich complex flavor from browned butter and a pop of sea salt. It has a few secrets of its own (sorry DoubleTree!) that make it my most adult-skewing cc cookie yet.

Don't wait for Thanksgiving to try these!

Wild Rice Salad

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This salad is an incredible combination of chewy rice and dried fruit with crunchy veggies and nuts. It's a colorful dinner side, an easy lunch, and a healthy snack~ plus it keeps all week in the fridge.

Maple Roasted Honeynut Squash

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Move over baked potatoes ~ this sweet veggie provides beta-carotene for eye, skin, and immune health, with vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and antioxidants. Just pop it in the oven!

Nantucket Cranberry Pie-Cake

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This homey dessert has no pastry crust ~ instead it is more like a hybrid cranberry cake / cranberry pie with fresh cranberries under a buttery batter. So good.

What you're loving lately

Apple Cider Doughnut Loaf Cake

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"I made this for a coworkers birthday and it was a hit. The loaf was moist, the sugar added a nice texture on the outside. The crumb is beautiful. I will definitely make this again."
