Shake Up Your Feast: Recipes for a Modern Thanksgiving πŸ¦ƒ

Hey friends❣️

Every few years I get the urge to change things up, to go rogue on Thanksgiving. Here's a little taste

Roast Beef Tenderloin

Every few years we change things up and decide to ditch the whole turkey on Thanksgiving. It can be fun to open up the menu to other possibilities. When we lived in Los Angles a beautiful side of salmon was one of our favorite non-traditional Thanksgiving mains. When we lived in snowy New England we might make a rich and comforting German sauerbraten pot roast with red cabbage. For our smallest gatherings we like to make a simple turkey breast.

The most elegant of all turkey substitutes has to be roast beef tenderloin. It's SO MUCH EASIER than wrestling with a turkey, and it goes great with cranberries and festive fixings...

Mediterranean Sheet Pan Salmon

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

Hey friends❣️ Not all of us have an outdoor grill. I have a gas grill but it hasn't gotten hooked up at our new house, so I'll be moving the burgers inside this year. My favorite burgers have never been the same-old same-old... Salmon Burgers with dill sauce (or 30-second tartar sauce) make a nice change from beef....

Hey friends❣️ I don't think it's an overstatement to say this recipe is gold. It checks all of the boxes: βœ… not complicated βœ… delicious βœ… foolproof βœ… year-round (just swap out the filling) βœ… easy to transport, slice, and serve It's what I consider a 'forever recipe', it's part of my baking DNA. I turn to it often and it always has my back. I've made it a million ways and I'm still not sick of it.
