Shake Up Your Feast: Recipes for a Modern Thanksgiving πŸ¦ƒ

Hey friends❣️

Every few years I get the urge to change things up, to go rogue on Thanksgiving. Here's a little taste

Roast Beef Tenderloin

Every few years we change things up and decide to ditch the whole turkey on Thanksgiving. It can be fun to open up the menu to other possibilities. When we lived in Los Angles a beautiful side of salmon was one of our favorite non-traditional Thanksgiving mains. When we lived in snowy New England we might make a rich and comforting German sauerbraten pot roast with red cabbage. For our smallest gatherings we like to make a simple turkey breast.

The most elegant of all turkey substitutes has to be roast beef tenderloin. It's SO MUCH EASIER than wrestling with a turkey, and it goes great with cranberries and festive fixings...

Mediterranean Sheet Pan Salmon

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

MEYER LEMON HUMMUS

Hey friends❣️ My naturally vegan Meyer lemon hummus dip is so easy and so silky it makes store-bought feel kind of pointless. Meyer Lemon Hummus We’re hummus people…always have been. It’s been our go-to appetizer or snack for decades, and while taste in hummus can vary, I maintain that there are a few qualities every great hummus must have: It must be silky smooth (I can’t abide a grainy hummus) It must be rich in tahini for a luxe satisfying experience And it must not have a harsh acidic...
