I'm off to about 3 different grocery stores today plus a bakery to gather my ingredients. My menu is, roughly: Large turkey (I wish I was doing a simple turkey breast) Green Bean Casserole although if things get crazy that could morph into the easier Green Beans Almondine. Butternut Squash Casserole ~ love!! Wild Rice Salad with Cranberries which I'll make a day ahead, for sure. Mulled Cranberry Sauce (I'm leaving out the wine in my recipe because we have kids and one non-drinker, I'll use cranberry juice.) Molasses Cornbread which is my new fave and so perfect for the holiday. Maple Frangipane Pecan Pie because it's insanely good and everybody demands it. I'll see you over in the Great Island kitchen, where I'm in full holiday swing. If you've questions just hit reply here, or leave a comment on any post, I try to answer them asap, often within hours! what you're loving latelyHot Pepper Cranberry Jam 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

Libby’s classic spice blend is simple ~ cinnamon, ginger, and cloves ~ and it absolutely works. But my little secret? A good pinch of ground mace (mace = the lacy outer aril surrounding the nutmeg seed.) It has a soft warm flavor,...
Hey friends❣️ I've been having a lot of fun testing your holiday cookie submissions ~ thank you! If you missed out on the fun don't worry, there'll be another challenge in December, announced, as always, right here in the newsletter. I'll be posting the winning cookie after Thanksgiving. Fresh out of the oven today: my fun pecan pie bars. Crust-a-phobes will love the easy press-in crust, and there’s not a drop of corn syrup in the filling. Pretty sweet.
