Dr. Mark's Life Changing Cookies ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

โ€‹

Hey friendsโฃ๏ธ

It's been a busy September in my kitchen so far. Birthdays (this cake, and this one,) out of town visitors, apple picking (mulled cider + apple cider doughnuts,) farmers markets...and I've been testing out the chili recipes you've all submitted for our Recipe Roundtable. Luckily I have lots of folks around to taste test with me.

And of course I'm always working on the latest and greatest recipes to share with you.

What's the secret to Dr.Mark's cookies? You'll have to hop on over to the post to find out, but let's just say I'm now a believer. Hope you try them!

September is cookie season (second only to the holidays) and there's always a stack under the cake dome on my counter. Nothing fancy ~ just buttery classics; but what they lack in glamour they more than make up for in flavor.

I made this recipe as is. Only I used the juice of 1 lemon to keep my apple from turning brown. It is a keeper!
We could taste the rhubarb and the apple, nice.

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isnโ€™t that what itโ€™s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!
