⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick Breads You Don't Want to Miss!

Hey friends❣️

Recipes meant for sharing on deck today. Quick breads are my go-to when I want that fall baking experience but don't have scads of time or energy. Share them with teachers, office mates, friends and neighbors.

Tips:

  • Buy spices in the smallest jars so they don’t go stale.
  • Freshen up your fall/holiday stash now so you’re not frustrated when you go to bake your first mini pumpkin loaves or apple fritter bread of the season!

Apple Spice Loaf Cake (Pin it)

Apple butter is the key ingredient here, along with those warm spices. Like many loaf cakes this one comes together in a snap, no mixers involved.

Amish Cinnamon Bread (Pin it!)

Here's what your fellow bakers have to say about this:

This bread is incredible – my family loves it, it’s gone within hours and you can’t mess up the recipe – no matter what boneheaded move you pull, it will still be wonderful! This was one of the first things I made during the pandemic and I’ve been baking ever since! Thanks Sue!

Made this and it was a huge hit! Used safflower oil, only 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 cups of powdered Stevia. I substituted Splenda brown sugar blend for the cinnamon sugar, and it was perfect! And really easy to put together, and it seems like hours of work. I’d give this 6 stars if I could!
Sue, my family said give that recipe six stars. It came in my morning email and I tried to ignore but eventually caved and baked up two loaves. They are perfect. Light, extremely flavorful in all the good ways, and very easy to make. You do a very good job of writing recipes with both your ingredient lists and assembly of batter.

I don’t usually come back to a recipe to comment, but this bread! It’s divine! It’s become our family favorite breakfast bread! We LOVE it!! The texture is moist and has a beautiful crumb, a perfect cinnamon flavor! The sugar topping threw me off at first when I took it out of the oven, but after we had our first bites, it became everyone’s favorite. Most excellent!

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!
