Frozen Limonada Bars 🍋‍🟩

Hey friends❣️

Today’s new recipe is inspired by Brazilian limonada ~ a frosty lime drink known for its heat-beating abilities. It definitely helped our family out this week. My husband made quick work of a test batch while streaming Your Friends & Neighbors.

Frozen Limonada Bars

These frozen limonada bars owe their silky texture to sweetened condensed milk, a sometimes controversial ingredient I always keep in my pantry. Why?

  • It helps keep things creamy instead of icy in frozen desserts.
  • It’s essential in no-churn ice cream.
  • I use it in my frozen summer pies.
  • And it’s not only a freezer trick ~ it makes fudge silky, no-bake fillings creamy, and bar desserts chewy and rich.

Easy Microwave Fudge

Edible Cookie Dough

But the US is big, and I know many of you are already in full summer mode. So let’s get to it. Friends below the equator, save these for your summer! Your must make...

It slices like cake, and every piece is its own little masterpiece. If you're new to this concept, you can read all about it here. It's the kind of thing you can spin into endless combinations all summer long. Ice Cream Sundae Terrine get the...

Summer Slaw Recipes

Hey friends❣️ Happy Sunday! My younger daughter and her boyfriend moved into a rental house on the other side of town, and they threw a housewarming party this week. Hanging over the fence in the backyard was a massive mulberry tree, so you know I didn't leave that party without a Ziploc baggie full of juicy little purple mulberries. I haven't shared a mulberry recipe yet on my site, so this will be a first. Can you guess what I made? But today we've got a heat advisory, so slaw is on the...
