Hey friends❣️

Rhubarb's bold, tangy flavor cuts through sweet desserts in the best way, and because it’s only around for a short time, it's something worth celebrating.

Forgotten Rhubarb Recipes

If you love a good sweet-tart combo (think sour cherry, lemon curd, or anything with a kick), rhubarb’s got your name on it. It’s bold, a little retro, and totally fun to bake with ~ plus, it turns everything the prettiest shade of pink.

From an everyday rhubarb dump cake to a sublime rhubarb butter, it's in this collection.

Happy hunting, and let me know what you discover!

Bourbon Glazed Meatloaf 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sue, this meatloaf was fabulous!!! Made exactly as written. I didn’t quite have enough peach preserves for a cup, so I added some pineapple jalapeño jam to fill it up. Next time I think I’ll use ALL pineapple jalapeño jam. Yummmmmmy!! Thanks for an awesome recipe!

I love to make delicious food, photograph it, and write about it, but mostly, I just love to EAT. Isn’t that what it’s all about? My recipes are bold and vibrant, but totally approachable ~ and my philosophy? We should all have the tools to feed ourselves well, and the confidence to cut loose a little in the kitchen. Food should be fun!

bay scallops

Hey friends❣️ Hope you all had a fun Mother's Day. I had an orange juice/prosecco/amaretto cocktail at brunch that pretty much knocked me out for the afternoon so I napped much of the day away. Could have been worse! As the days get longer my dinner prep gets shorter, and I'm leaning into quick cooking proteins, simple pastas, and flatbread pizzas of all sorts. Here's what I'm thinking for the week ~ Sautéed Bay Scallops We stumbled on fresh wild caught Cape Cod scallops the other day and had...

I'm heading out to the farmers market but I wanted to shoot this recipe off to you this morning in case you want to make it for Mom. Summer Couscous Salad I may never make a heavy pasta salad again ~ couscous is definitely the way to go. It's so quick and easy and makes the fluffiest base for salads. Imagine this gorgeous salad for lunch....

Hey friends❣️ Happy Friday! As I'm writing to you now I've got an almond poppy seed muffin and a cup of hot coffee by my side, so all is right with the world. If you're thinking about Mother's Day (or just thinking about breakfast) you'll love today's recipes. The almond poppyseed muffins are freshly updated from a 2013 recipe ~ we've completely revamped this classic and I have to say, they're just perfect. Almond Poppy Seed Muffins Not to brag, but muffins are one of my specialities, they’re...
