I love it. For real. Maybe it's because I'm a kid at heart but this giant cookie hits all of those warm holiday dessert sweet spots. It's visually stunning and puts a smile on everybody's face.

Genius gifting idea: Place the whole cookie pie in a small pizza box lined with holiday tissue!

​Candied Orange Peel 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

These are simply delightful! I’ve always loved candied orange peel but I never thought to look for a recipe. I guess I presumed it was difficult and exotic to make them! Followed the recipe exactly other than adding three whole cloves to the sugar and water for the syrup phase. I love the hint of spicy warmth clove brings. Do be vigilant as the syrup reduces. I was lucky to catch it right as it was on the verge of beginning to burn. Made it in the knick of time, thank goodness! Freezing some for future use and nibbling on some too. Thanks Sue for making getting out of my comfort zone fun and rewarding!
